<p>I know a secret which will multiply the number of new Customers and new Distributors coming into your Network-Marketing business &#8211; <em>regularly</em>.</p>
<p>A little while back I reviewed a marketing album (as I do very regularly) and it turned out to be one of the most eye opening educational products I have <em>ever</em> gone through.</p>
<p>It was from a marketing and copy-writing genius. A guy who quietly outperformed virtually everybody on the planet for DECADES when it came to copy-writing and getting sales &#8211; thousands and thousands of sales every time he wrote a sale letter or an ad.</p>
<p>The guy is called Gary Bencivenga [GB] &#8211; and upon his retirement he held ONE seminar only &#8211; so he could finally revealed to the world his devastatingly effective marketing secrets and strategies.</p>
<p>I would like to share one of the profound lessons I learned from the great GB in the below true story that he told in his ONLY training album (which cost $5,000!). It will change the way you conduct your Network-Marketing business forever.</p>
<p>I promise you will be <strong>FAR</strong> more effective after you have read this.</p>
<p>GB tell us about a remarkable fisherman Captain John Rade, who can teach us Networkers a <span style="color: #ff0000;"><em><strong>profound</strong></em></span> lesson&#8230;.<span id="more-16"></span></p>
<p>Captain John, a legendary fisherman from Montauk NewYork, is known for his amazing ability to out-fish <em>every</em> commercial fisherman in his area, <em>every-time!</em></p>
<p>Captain John is a commercial fisherman. He&#8217;s also known as a Pin Hooker, the rarest of all fisherman.</p>
<p>While other commercial fisherman are using big nets and professional teams to bring in their daily catches, Captain John is out there with nothing more than a rod and reel, in his relatively small boat.</p>
<p>He doesn&#8217;t use any of the tools the other commercial fisherman use.</p>
<p>No nets. No giant trollers. No crews of five or six fisherman.</p>
<p>He simply goes out on a little put-put motorboat with a rod and reel, and out-catches every other fisherman by multiples &#8211; every time!</p>
<p>In fact, on any given day, on the same exact body of water, Captain John will catch more Striped Bass than 10 commercial fisher-boats COMBINED!</p>
<p>And on competition days, he catches more fish than ALL the other fishermen combined!</p>
<p>So, how does he do it you&#8217;re wondering?</p>
<p>Well, when asked exactly that by a local news reporter, he said something profound.</p>
<p>He said:</p>
<p>&#8220;Most fisherman have their fancy SUV&#8217;s towing their fancy boats. They buy the fancy gear. All that fancy gear is design to catch fishermen (i.e. for shops to sell more) not fish. They think like fishermen.</p>
<p>When I go out on the water I think like a fish.&#8221;</p>
<p>I just got goosebumps&#8230;</p>
<p>You see, Captain John studied fish and the ocean, obsessively. He knew what different currents meant, different weather conditions, and how the fish would react in each season. He knew what the fish ate at different time of year. He was able to go where the fish were, and offer them the bait he knew they&#8217;d take.</p>
<p>The implication of that answer for Networkers is HUGE.</p>
<p>Let me break it down for you:</p>
<p>When it comes to promoting and trying to attract potential Customers and new team members, most Network-MarketingNetwork-Marketing reps think and market from a Network-Marketing reps&#8217; perspective.</p>
<p>Most design their marketing materials and their scripts from the perspective of a Network-Marketing rep and NOT from the perspective of a potential customer/team member.</p>
<p>In other words, most Network-Marketing reps are thinking about themselves, their products and their agenda when they promote.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re NOT thinking about what prospective customer/team member are looking for.</p>
<p>You see, marketing Network-Marketing is very similar to fishing&#8230;</p>
<p>Are you a real student of your prospects/customers? How often have you truly put yourself in their shoes? Immersed yourself in what it must be like in their position?</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a starter: fear.</p>
<p>Fear of starting something new. Fear of failing. Fear of what friends might say. Fear of success (really &#8211; it happens more than you think). Fear of what comes next. Fear of risk.</p>
<p>You have to know your target and know what they&#8217;re looking for so you can use the correct bait to attract them.</p>
<p>When fishing, it&#8217;s not about what YOU want to use as bait. It&#8217;s completely about what your target fish is looking for. And then using THAT as bait.</p>
<p>This is why the most effective marketing is totally focused on solving the prospective customers problem or need, and NOT about Network-Marketing.</p>
<p>In essence, the most effective marketing materials are not even marketing Network-Marketing at all. They&#8217;re marketing the solution to a person&#8217;s problem. Period.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>Because that&#8217;s what most prospective customer/team members are looking for and want.</p>
<p>* They want their pain eliminated.<br />
* They want their energy boosted.<br />
* They want to decrease the likelihood of getting sick.<br />
* They want to look and feel their best.<br />
* They want more time / money<br />
* They want peace of mind<br />
* They want Freedom<br />
* They want extra income for a VERY specific reason</p>
<p>get the picture.</p>
<p>The overwhelming majority of people are NOT looking for a Network-Marketing business/product at all.</p>
<p>They are looking for a solution to their problem</p>
<p>If you try to build your Network-Marketing business leading with Network-Marketing&#8217;s features (even though they&#8217;re fantastic), you&#8217;re trying to attract them with the wrong bait.</p>
<p>Instead, help them solve their problem.</p>
<p>And the best way to do this is by being totally understanding of their wants, and displaying total confidence that you can help them get there.</p>
<p>Instead of being pushy, salesy or even worse needy.</p>
<p>Be a caring teacher and a leader. Take charge and guide them for their benefit, and towards their wants and goals.</p>
<p>The more you can get into the minds of people, and better understand their needs and wants, the better you can tailor the bait to attract them into your business.</p>
<p>As Captain John Rade would probably say &#8211; It&#8217;s all about thinking like a prospective customer / team member.</p>
